The anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic has come and gone, and the interest level has fallen back to the pre -1997 movie level, so it is mostly us history buffs who monitor the press coverage.
It is hard to explain the interest level that I have inthis subject, and I am not sure it can ever be fully understood, but the emotional impact of the story still catches my attention all these years after I first heard it as a child in the late 1960s.
